The , 9th Training of Trainers (ToT) program on teaching methods in accordance with the updated curriculum.

In line with the vision of our University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, to strengthen capacity building and professional development across Iraqi universities, and in support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s strategic programs aimed at improving the quality of higher education outcomes to meet international standards, the University took part in this national initiative.
Assistant Professor Dr. Fawaz Fadhil Ali, Director of the Continuing Education Center at Northern Technical University, a member of the committee for developing the updated teaching methods curriculum, and a member of the executive committee for Training of Trainers on the updated teaching methods curriculum towards blended learning, participated alongside a group of experts and trainers from various Iraqi universities. He delivered a number of in-person lectures as part of the program organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up, hosted by the University of Technology in Baghdad. The program will run for one month, combining both face-to-face and online training.

The interactive training sessions addressed a range of concepts and strategies related to effective active training, aiming to enhance trainees’ competencies in active training practices. These approaches contribute to strengthening teaching and learning skills in line with modern educational systems and to reinforcing the fundamental pillars for the development of higher education in Iraqi universities.
