Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance and supervision of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College, Professor Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajary, the Technical Agricultural College concluded the Chess Championship for Staff Members, organized by the Student Activities Division, with the participation of a number of faculty members and employees.

The championship was held in a competitive and positive atmosphere that reflected teamwork, mutual respect, and active engagement among participants. It also highlighted the college’s commitment to supporting intellectual and cultural activities that contribute to developing mental skills and strengthening social ties within the university community.

The results of the championship were as follows:

• Mr. Assistant Lecturer Ziad Amer Mustafa secured first place,

• Associate Professor Dr. Azhar Majid Ibrahim achieved second place.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners were honored by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, in appreciation of their active participation and in encouragement of such activities that enhance intellectual abilities and foster a positive and cohesive academic environment.

This championship is part of a series of activities organized by the college administration, reflecting its belief in the importance of extracurricular activities in promoting a balanced academic life and strengthening the sense of belonging among staff members.
