Presidents of Northern Technical University, Tikrit University, and Al-Iraqia University Discuss Mechanisms for Joint Scientific Cooperation.

As part of efforts to strengthen academic relations among Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, received Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, in the presence of the President of Al-Iraqia University, to explore prospects for scientific and academic cooperation among the three institutions.
During the meeting, the parties discussed mechanisms to activate programs of scientific and research collaboration, the exchange of academic and administrative expertise, and coordination in applied research, joint projects, and training and development programs. The discussion also included avenues for cooperation in postgraduate studies and joint supervision of theses and dissertations.
All participants emphasized the importance of expanding the scope of collaboration in a way that contributes to raising the academic and scientific standards of the institutions and providing high-quality educational and research services. This approach aligns with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision of supporting national partnerships between higher education institutions in Iraq.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the presidents of the three universities expressed their appreciation for the spirit of cooperation and the genuine willingness to establish sustainable partnerships that will enhance the standing of their universities and benefit students and the wider academic community.
