President of the University Visits the BEX Laboratory for Sustainable Environment at the University of Florence, Italy

The President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, accompanied by her delegation, visited the BEX Laboratory for Sustainable Environment at the Department of Architectural Engineering, University of Florence, Italy, as part of the academic visit program to the Italian Republic. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the latest technologies and scientific research adopted in the fields of environmental sustainability and sustainable architectural design.

The visit included a field tour of the laboratory facilities, during which ongoing research projects and applied practices were presented, in addition to an overview of the mechanisms for employing modern technologies to reduce environmental impact and enhance energy efficiency in buildings.

The President of the University commended the advanced scientific and research level of the BEX Laboratory, emphasizing the importance of expanding scientific and academic cooperation, particularly in the fields of sustainability and green architecture, in a manner that contributes to the development of curricula and scientific research at Northern Technical University.
