President of the Northern Technical University Inaugurates Hawija Technical College.

Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, inaugurated Hawija Technical College this morning, following the completion of the transformation of the Technical Institute in Hawija into a college. This step comes as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s strategic plan to develop technical education and expand its academic scope.

In her speech at the opening ceremony, the university president emphasized that this achievement represents a qualitative shift in the Northern Technical University’s journey towards expansion and advancement of academic excellence. She indicated that the college will include several modern academic departments that meet the demands of the labor market and keep pace with technological developments.

She also explained that the opening of Hawija Technical College meets the needs of the region and its students, ensuring the provision of advanced educational opportunities that contribute to supporting local and national development.
