President of the Northern Technical University attends the special ministerial meeting within the “Tawasul” project.

The Honorable President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, attended the ministerial meeting, chaired by the Ministry’s Advisor, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan, and attended by the presidents of technical universities. The meeting was concerned with the “Tawasul” project to enhance graduate skills and entrepreneurship, which is being implemented in cooperation with the University Service of Canada (WUSC). The project aims to prepare and develop quality programs and guides to qualify graduates and develop their skills, enabling them to enter the labor market and engage effectively in entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by the presidents of technical universities in Iraq, in addition to a number of representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and was attended by His Excellency the Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This reflects the high level of interest in initiatives aimed at empowering youth and achieving integration between educational outcomes and labor market needs. The participation of Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas in this meeting confirms the active role of the Northern Technical University in supporting development programs and its continuous efforts to enhance the capabilities of students and graduates, in line with the National Strategy for Higher Education and Innovation in Iraq.
