Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, conducted a visit to the Bird Sanctuary at Al-Hawija Polytechnic College and reviewed the sanctuary’s activities and the efforts undertaken to preserve avian biodiversity and provide a suitable natural habitat for various bird species. She emphasized the importance of the sanctuary as both a scientific and environmental project that enhances students’ practical skills and fosters scientific research in the fields of environmental studies and wildlife conservation.
President Al-Attar also stressed the university’s commitment to supporting all scientific initiatives that reflect its vision of integrating theoretical education with hands-on experience. She affirmed the university’s readiness to provide the necessary resources and expertise to further develop the sanctuary and support its associated research projects.
