President of Northern Technical University Strengthens Academic Relations with Istanbul State University.

Northern Technical University was officially welcomed by Istanbul State University with a delegation led by Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, accompanied by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs. This visit aims to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
The meeting witnessed extensive discussions on cooperation prospects, including the implementation of joint projects and training programs within international initiatives, primarily the Erasmus+ program. The dialogue also covered academic experience exchange, capacity building, joint research enhancement, and curriculum modernization aligned with the Bologna Process in education.
Both sides agreed to organize specialized workshops, scientific seminars, and joint conferences to facilitate knowledge exchange and enrich the academic experience of both parties.
The Turkish side expressed admiration for the tangible progress made by Northern Technical University in education and scientific research. They confirmed their desire to support the university’s efforts to elevate its standing in global rankings and to secure prestigious positions in international forums.
The meeting culminated in the signing of a Letter of Intent between the two universities, outlining the main framework and initial steps toward establishing a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This MoU will serve as a comprehensive framework for future cooperation.
Both parties emphasized their pride in this promising partnership and their commitment to translating these agreements into practical projects that contribute to the development of higher education and enhance the global academic presence of both universities.
