President of Northern Technical University Honors Outstanding Student for Excellence in Programming and Youth Leadership.

Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, honored a distinguished student from the university for his remarkable achievements in programming and youth initiatives.
The honored student, Mustafa Mohammed Hamed Al-Khashab, a third-year student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, was recognized for his outstanding contributions in the field of programming and active participation in youth development programs.
Dr. Al-Attar emphasized that the university places great importance on supporting student potential and creating an academically enriching environment that empowers students to innovate, compete, and excel both locally and internationally. This vision aligns with the university’s strategic goals of preparing a generation capable of contributing to society and representing Iraq on global scientific and youth platforms.
Among his notable accomplishments, student Mustafa achieved:
• Third place nationwide in the “Future Programmers 2020” competition, using Scratch programming.
• Participation in programs organized by the IREX International Organization, earning a certificate of appreciation.
• Membership in the Digital Team under the Supreme Council for Youth / Prime Minister’s Office.
• A formal letter of thanks and appreciation from the Prime Minister of Iraq, in recognition of his exceptional contributions.

Dr. Al-Attar affirmed that celebrating creative and high-achieving students reflects the university’s core mission of empowering youth and cultivating innovation, paving the way for a conscious and capable generation that contributes to the nation’s progress and elevates Iraq’s presence in scientific and youth forums.
