President of Northern Technical University Holds Meeting to Review the University’s Scientific and Research Planning System.

Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, held an extensive meeting attended by the university’s vice presidents to discuss and present the new scientific and research planning system for the academic year 2025–2026. The system was developed by the Department of Scientific Affairs at the university presidency.
The new system aims to create a qualitative shift in the management and monitoring of scientific and research activities across the university’s formations. Key objectives of the system include:
1- Automating the process of collecting, verifying, implementing, and following up on the annual scientific and research plan.
2- Reducing reliance on paper and gradually transitioning to comprehensive digital transformation.
3- Facilitating accurate and flexible data entry by academic staff.
4- Establishing a centralized research database that can be analyzed and utilized to support decision-making.
5- Enhancing efficiency and saving time and effort in monitoring and generating statistical reports.
6- Providing access to research performance results through a modern interactive dashboard.
During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of adopting this system as a strategic step toward enhancing the quality of scientific research and achieving academic excellence. She also stressed the need for cooperation among all university formations to ensure the successful implementation and maximum benefit of the system.
