Northern Technical University Wins First Place in the National Scouting Camp for Rover Scouts and Guides of Iraqi Universities .

Northern Technical University achieved a remarkable accomplishment by securing first place in the National Scouting Camp for rover scouts and guides, held for both public and private Iraqi universities—earning the top ranking among all universities in Iraq.

The camp was hosted at the Northern Technical University – Kirkuk campus, with broad participation from Iraqi universities. The university’s team excelled in various scouting activities, demonstrating strong teamwork, discipline, and high-level skills among the participating students.

This achievement is attributed to the strong support and continuous follow-up of Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, and the direct supervision of Mr. Shamil Talee’ Yahya, Director of the Student Activities Department, who accompanied the team’s training and activities from the start of preparations for the camp.
