Northern Technical University has strengthened its international presence.

Under the direct supervision and support of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the university participated in the largest global rankings conference, QS, held in London, United Kingdom.

The university was represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Karim Abdulrahman, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Technical College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence Engineering / Kirkuk, during his participation in the QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference 2025 – London, UK, where he was honored as part of the conference activities.

This distinguished participation comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance its international presence and exchange expertise with leading and reputable global universities, contributing to the development of academic and research performance and strengthening education quality.

During the conference, new cooperation bridges were established with four internationally ranked universities listed in the QS rankings, in addition to signing cooperation agreements (Letters of Intent) during the sessions and proceedings of the conference.

With this, Northern Technical University reaffirms its commitment to adopting best global practices, advancing its international rankings, and enhancing its academic reputation regionally and globally, in line with the vision of the University President to achieve global excellence.
