Northern Technical University has signed a memorandum of scientific cooperation with Khawaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi University of Technology to enhance academic and technical collaboration.

As part of the activities of the Five Technical Universities Conference (5UT), Northern Technical University signed a memorandum of understanding with Khawaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi University of Technology from the Islamic Republic of Iran, aimed at strengthening academic, scientific, and technical cooperation between the two sides.

The memorandum was signed by Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, during an official signing ceremony attended by representatives from both Iraqi and Iranian institutions.

The memorandum includes provisions for cooperation in scientific research, researcher exchanges, the implementation of training programs, and joint workshops, in addition to developing joint projects in engineering and modern technologies. It also stipulates an agreement on the exchange of academic expertise, curriculum development, and the organization of joint international scientific conferences, contributing to building sustainable cooperation bridges between the two universities.

This step aligns with Northern Technical University’s approach to open up to leading regional and international universities and to enhance its presence in the global academic arena through constructive partnerships that contribute to supporting innovation and technology transfer.
