In order to increase the bonds of cooperation between our university and Iraqi universities and open new horizons of cooperation in the academic and scientific fields and raise the level of scientific research, the Northern Technical University, represented by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the University of Zakho, represented by Prof. Nazem Suleiman Abdel Aziz, President of the University, in the presence of Mr. Assistant President The University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmood, and a number of directors of the departments of the university presidency. The agreement included several areas in scientific research, teaching, management, and career development, as well as cooperation in the field of summer training, developing students’ skills, conducting joint specialized research, and publishing in journals listed within the global capacities as well as activities student.

At the end of the meeting, the university president presented the university’s shield and an in-kind gift in which she explained the landmarks of Mosul, the “Beacon of Mosul” and a group of university guides. In his turn, the president of Zakho University presented her honor with the university’s shield and an in-kind gift.
