Northern Technical University President Chairs Strategic Meeting on Advancement of University Scientific Journals.

In a continued effort to elevate the academic standing of Northern Technical University’s scientific publications, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the University and Editor-in-Chief of the University Journal of Engineering and Technology, chaired a strategic meeting with the Editors-in-Chief and Managing Editors of the university’s journals.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs and Managing Editor of the University Journal of Engineering and Technology, and Professor Dr. Thanoon Younis Thanoon, Assistant President for Financial and Administrative Affairs and Editor-in-Chief of the University Journal of Pure Sciences.
Discussions focused on several key issues concerning the development of the university’s journals. The participants collaboratively outlined a comprehensive roadmap aimed at achieving inclusion in global indexing platforms. The meeting also addressed the challenges and obstacles that may hinder this objective, with the goal of overcoming them to enhance the university’s academic presence on an international level.
