Northern Technical University Participates in Workshop on Women’s Economic Empowerment in Collaboration with HOPE Organization and Its Partners.

 

 

Under the direction of the esteemed President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the university took part in a workshop focused on women’s economic empowerment.
Ms. Hanadi Salem Mohammed, Head of the Women’s Affairs Division, and Mr. Kamal Al-Din Rashad Hameed, Head of the Communication Unit in the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, represented the university at the introductory workshop for the Rabee’ Al-Mosul Employment Platform, organized by HOPE Organization in partnership with BWO, and supported by CARE International and the German International Development Organization (GIZ).
The workshop introduced the women-focused employment platform and discussed mechanisms for creating real and sustainable job opportunities for women. It also explored practical strategies for economically empowering women through training, job placements, and access to employment resources.
This participation reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting national and international initiatives aimed at enhancing women’s roles in the workforce and contributing to inclusive economic development.
