Northern Technical University participates in training and refereeing courses to develop sports activities.

Under the direction of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and with the follow-up of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Dhnoon Younis Dhnoon, Mr. Ahmed Hisham Jassim and Mr. Faisal Ibrahim Khader participated in the two international training and refereeing courses in table tennis held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, the Student Activities Department, for the period from 19/1/2024 to 23/1/2024 in Najaf Governorate, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. International trainers and referees from Iraq, Tunisia, Iran and Jordan attended these two courses. The goal of these courses is to prepare high-level trainers and referees in order to develop the game of table tennis and participate in internal and external university sports tournaments.
