Northern Technical University Participates in the Third Scientific Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Innovation 2025 in Kirkuk.

Under the generous patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, the Maharat Foundation held the Third Scientific Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Innovation. The conference was attended by a selected group of university professors from various Iraqi universities, university students, and those interested in the fields of technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence. Northern Technical University had a distinguished presence, reflecting its high sense of responsibility and commitment to attending events organized or supervised by the university.

The respected University President delivered a speech in which she discussed the importance of artificial intelligence and innovation, and the role of Northern Technical University in spreading awareness of AI and innovation through the establishment of specialized colleges and scientific departments, and by sponsoring conferences and events.

In addition, the Dean of the Engineering Technical College for Computer and Artificial Intelligence in Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Muntasser Edi Sharif, presented a scientific lecture on designing a control cockpit for robots and devices using Virtual Reality and the Internet of Things. Furthermore, Dr. Anmar Burhan, Head of the Cybersecurity Department at the Engineering Technical College for Computer and Artificial Intelligence in Mosul, spoke about AI algorithms in smart education, highlighting the importance of artificial intelligence in education.

Many university students participated in the graduation projects competition in the field of technology and artificial intelligence.

At the end of the conference sessions, Mr. Arian, Director of the Maharat Foundation, honored Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, for her significant role and major achievements in developing the educational environment, supporting technology and artificial intelligence, and sponsoring innovation and innovators.
