Northern Technical University Participates in the “Iraqi Anti-Drug Week” .

Under the patronage and direct guidance of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the University, our university participated in the activities of the “Iraqi Anti-Drug Week” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The participation came through attending the Anti-Drug Conference held at the headquarters of the Iraqi University.

Our university’s contribution was represented by the University Psychological Counseling Unit, which presented a distinguished awareness exhibition on combating drugs. The exhibition included educational materials and awareness messages directed toward students and the community, in line with the university’s role in promoting community awareness and supporting national efforts to curb this scourge. The university was represented in this event by Mr. Suhaib Najm Al-Din Abdullah and Mr. Ashraf Thakir Mahmoud from the Office Affairs Department.

Once again, our university reaffirms its commitment to continuing the implementation of awareness programs and plans within the national anti-drug strategy, thereby strengthening the role of academic institutions in protecting youth and shaping a conscious generation capable of facing challenges.
