Northern Technical University Participates in the Conclusion of (Tawasul) Training Program for Entrepreneurship.

Under the guidance of the university president, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the university’s vice president for academic affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Rafaa Mahmoud, Northern Technical University participated with several trainers in the field of entrepreneurship from the rehabilitation, employment, and follow-up units in the university’s colleges and institutes. This was part of the (Tawasul) training program for entrepreneurship, which concluded its activities in Baghdad, alongside participants from other technical universities and vocational training centers in Iraq.

The program was implemented by the World University Service of Canada (WUSC), under the supervision of the Directorate of the Entrepreneurship Initiative / General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. It aimed to support efforts to empower university and vocational youth to acquire essential entrepreneurship skills and transform their ideas into viable economic projects within an interactive training environment based on practice and realistic planning.

The training program included several key topics, such as:
– Concepts of entrepreneurship.
– Generating entrepreneurial ideas.
– Designing a Business Model Canvas (BMC).
– Market research and data analysis.
– Modern marketing strategies for startups.
– Preparing economic and financial studies for projects.

At the conclusion of the program, participation certificates were distributed to the trainees in recognition of their active participation and commitment throughout the training phases.
