The Northern Technical University participated in the Annual Flower Festival 2026.

Under the patronage and guidance of the University President, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College/Mosul, the university took part in the festival organized by the Mosul Municipality at Al-Shaab Park. The university’s pavilion was attended by the District Commissioner of Mosul and the Director General of the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate.

This participation reflects the university’s interest in environmental and agricultural activities and its support for initiatives that promote awareness of natural beauty and sustainability, as well as highlighting the role of its formations, especially the Technical Agricultural College, in developing the agricultural sector.

The participation included a distinguished display of a variety of flowers and plants, showcasing the scientific and practical efforts of the college’s staff and students, along with innovative ideas in landscaping and green space design.

Through such events, the university aims to promote environmental awareness and strengthen its active presence in community and scientific activities.
