Northern Technical University Participates in Capacity Development Training Program on Quality Assurance

Northern Technical University participates in the training program Capacity Building Plan in the field of quality assurance

Northern Technical University participated in the in-person training program entitled “Capacity Development Plan in Quality Assurance, the Bologna Process, and External Competency,” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the World Bank.

 

The University was represented by the Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, Assistant Prof. Dr. Nabil Mukhlif Abdul Razzaq. The week-long program, held in Baghdad, aimed to enhance institutional and academic competencies in alignment with national and international quality standards, with broad participation from international experts in the field of quality assurance.
This participation reflects the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the culture of quality assurance and academic accreditation, and to institutionalize the requirements of the Bologna Process in a manner that aligns its academic programs with global systems. It also supports pathways toward external competency and the adoption of best practices in academic evaluation.
The University affirmed that this step represents a continuation of its strategic approach to advancing institutional performance and building the capacities of its academic and administrative staff. Such initiatives positively impact educational outcomes and reinforce the University’s standing in academic rankings and accreditation frameworks.
