Northern Technical University Participates in an Advanced Training Workshop on International ABET Accreditation in Collaboration with Istanbul Gelisim University.

Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, and within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed with Istanbul Gelisim University in Turkey, a delegation from NTU. took part in an intensive advanced training workshop focused on international accreditation standards by ABET. This workshop is the first of its kind among Iraqi universities.
This participation comes as part of the university’s strategic vision to enhance its academic standing and engage with reputable international experiences, contributing to the development of educational programs in line with global quality standards.
Prof. Dr. Al-Attar affirmed that this initiative represents a significant step toward achieving international accreditation and reflects the university’s strong commitment to improving educational quality and aligning academic programs with international benchmarks. She also noted that the collaboration with Istanbul Gelisim University enhances the university’s international presence and supports its position as a leading academic institution in the field of technical and engineering education in Iraq.
