Northern Technical University participates in afforestation of the right bank forests.

Under the direction of its president, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Northern Technical University is taking part in the afforestation of the right bank forests.

In an environmental initiative aimed at supporting green spaces and enhancing environmental awareness, the Northern Technical University participated in the afforestation campaign for the forests on the right bank of the city of Mosul, under the direction of the university’s president, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar.

This participation underscores the university administration’s commitment to contributing to environmental initiatives that improve the local environment and revive vegetation cover, in addition to supporting community efforts to make the city of Mosul greener and more beautiful.

The campaign saw the participation of a number of university staff and students, who contributed to planting trees in designated areas within the forests, in a step that reflects the spirit of cooperation and community responsibility among the Northern Technical University family.

Participants emphasized that such initiatives convey an important message about preserving the environment and spreading the culture of afforestation among community members, given their positive impact on improving the climate and reducing pollution.
