Northern Technical University participates in a workshop on organizing international job fairs within the “Ezdeharak” project…

Under the direction of Northern Technical University President, Prof.Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and with the follow-up of the University President Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafae Mahmoud, Northern Technical University participated in a training workshop entitled “Planning University Job Fairs”, which was held within the activities of the “Ezdeharak” project with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of technical universities in organizing job fairs and supporting students and graduates.

The workshop focused on several main points, including:

1) Types of job fairs: defining the different models of job fairs organized by universities and scientific institutions, and their role in enhancing communication between students, graduates, and private sector companies and institutions.

2) Skills required for students and graduates: highlighting the most important skills that graduates and students must possess, such as the ability to write a CV, presentation and communication skills, and how to complete the requirements for a successful interview when applying to companies in the private sector to obtain job opportunities.

3) Basic preparations for organizing job fairs: Discussing the necessary logistical, administrative and financial aspects, in addition to using modern technologies to ensure the success of organizing distinguished job fairs.

This participation reflects the enthusiasm of Northern Technical University to support its graduates and prepare them to enter the labor market successfully, by providing the necessary opportunities and training to ensure their competitiveness locally and internationally.
