Northern Technical University Organizes Qur’an Memorization and Recitation Competitions

Northern Technical University organized two competitions for Qur’an memorization and recitation under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar , on the occasion of the National Day of the Holy Qur’an.

The events were held in cooperation with the Sunni Endowment Directorate – Nineveh Branch and organized by the Media and Government Communication Department . The competitions targeted both students and staff of the university and witnessed wide participation, with more than 50 male and female participants.

The evaluations were conducted in person for the university’s formations in Nineveh Governorate, while  electronic assessments  were arranged for the formations in Kirkuk and Salah Al-Din. The competitions aimed to promote Qur’anic values and encourage engagement with the Holy Qur’an within the academic community.
