Under the guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, our university organized an introductory workshop on the topic (Bologna Process).

 It is hoped that it will be implemented within the strategy of the Technical and Vocational Training and Education Program / Phase II VET2 by UNESCO.

With the support of the European Union in Iraqi technical universities, the workshop was held at the Technical College of Engineering / Mosul, in the presence of the Head of the Building and Construction Technologies Engineering Department and the teaching staff in the department.

Through the workshop, the paragraphs and activities that have been accomplished by the Northern Technical University and the latest developments related to preparing for the implementation of the Bologna Path Program, which it is hoped to start implementing at the beginning of the current academic year (2022-2023) in the Department of Building and Construction Techniques Engineering at the Technical College, were highlighted. In addition to discussing the obstacles and difficulties facing the implementation of the program and the critical role that the university plays in communicating with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in order to overcome the obstacles and challenges as much as possible.
