Northern Technical University Organizes a Workshop on Quality Management in Medical Specializations .

 

 

Northern Technical University organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled “Quality Management in Medical Specializations”, aiming to enhance the skills of academic and administrative staff in the areas of quality assurance and academic accreditation within medical colleges.

The workshop, organized by the University’s Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance, covered several key topics, including concepts of quality management, the application of international standards in hospitals and medical centers, methods for improving academic and clinical performance, in addition to discussing the latest scientific approaches to ensure the best outcomes in medical education and students’ practical training.
The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Mahmood, a member of the Iraqi Institutional Accreditation Council.

The President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, affirmed that organizing such workshops reflects the university’s commitment to elevating academic and administrative performance across all medical disciplines and preparing the appropriate environment for applying quality standards according to the latest global practices. This, she noted, contributes to developing the skills of students and faculty and strengthens confidence in the outcomes of health education.

The workshop witnessed strong engagement from participants, who expressed keenness to apply scientific quality management concepts within their educational and medical institutions. Practical experiences and applied examples of best practices in this field were also presented.
