Northern Technical University Organizes a Workshop for the Launch of the Scientific and Research Plan System.

Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Rafiaa Mahmood, the Scientific Affairs Department at the university will hold a workshop aimed at launching the university’s scientific and research plan system. This will take place in person from September 15 to 17, 2025, in the discussion hall of the College of Engineering for Computer and Artificial Intelligence in Mosul.

The objective of this workshop is to introduce the working mechanism according to the new system. The target audience includes the scientific assistants to the deans in the university’s formations and directors of research centers, and attendance is mandatory.

The workshop will include:
1. An explanation of the problems and obstacles in the previous scientific plan system, along with solutions and benefits of the new system.
2. Training on the working mechanism adopted in the new scientific and research plan system.
3. Conducting a test for participants to assess the extent of their benefit from this workshop.
