Northern Technical University organized a training course entitled Laboratory Safety for Undergraduate Students.
The course was held under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Omar Rafi Mahmoud Al-Omar. It was organized by the Division of Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security.
The course was conducted in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center and targeted undergraduate students from Nineveh Polytechnic / Mosul and the Technical Engineering College / Mosul. It aimed to enhance students’ awareness of occupational safety procedures and the prevention of laboratory hazards.
The course took place from 8 to 12 February 2026 and included a series of scientific and awareness lectures designed to promote a safe working environment that supports students’ academic progress and reinforces safety concepts within educational laboratories.
