Northern Technical University organizes a field tour of Mosul’s antiquities for internal department students…

Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, the Peaceful Coexistence Unit established the “Peace Ambassadors” program for students from the governorates and the Department of Media and Government Communication in cooperation with the Directorate of Internal Departments…
The program covered the visit of Mosul Heritage Foundation, where they were received by those in charge of the heritage project, Mahmood and Hudhaifa Al-Hasso.
During this, they gave a brief explanation of volunteer work for young people
The visit aimed to revive the heritage of Mosul and achieved remarkable progress in drawing the attention of the local and international community in the reconstruction of this ancient city with its history, buildings, and authentic heritage.
The program also included a visit to “Al-Noori” Mosque, the “Bay’a” Church, a beautiful stop near “Al-Atiq” Bridge with seagulls, and a quick tour of the popular heritage “Bab Al-Saray” market.
It is worth noting that the program was launched based on the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to spread cultural and civilizational awareness of the historical and archaeological areas of Iraq… It is hoped that the rest of the tours will be implemented during the month of next March, in an effort by our university to restore the authenticity of this city and paint a bright picture in The minds of all its visitors and students.
