Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Central Library Department at the Presidency of the University organized a course entitled (Cloud computing: Cataloging letters and theses as a model). The lecture was delivered by:

1. Ms.: Haneen Muhammad Hamid/ Diploma in Information and Libraries/ Central Library Department.
2. Mrs.: Israa Amer Mayouf/Diploma in Information and Libraries/Department of Central Library.
3. Ms.: Iman Abdel Hadi Khalil / Diploma in Information and Libraries / Department of Central Library.

The aim of this course was:

• Developing the library’s capabilities in line with the digital age.
• Use of modern technologies in office work.
• Uploading the biographical data of university theses and theses to (Google Drive).
• Upload messages and theses to the cloud.
• Ease of retrieval of messages or theses and the ability to access them from any device.

The affiliates of the sub-libraries and a number of the affiliates of other formations participated in it.
