Northern Technical University organized a scouting workshop entitled (The Scout Movement and Its Benefits)

The workshop was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and was organized by the Department of Student Activities – Scout Division at the University Presidency.

The session was delivered by Scout Leader Ammar Abdul-Ilah Aziz, Head of the Scout Division within the Department of Student Activities. A number of university students attended the workshop.

The workshop provided a detailed overview of the origins of the Scout Movement, as well as practical guidance on organizing a scout camp. The program typically begins with the flag salute ceremony, including instruction on the proper method of raising the flag, followed by an explanation of the various camp activities and procedures from commencement to conclusion.

This workshop marks the beginning of preparations for the University Scout Camp scheduled to be held by Northern Technical University during the 2025–2026 academic year.
