Northern Technical University Launches Final Events of the University-Wide Scientific Debate Mondial.

 

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Northern Technical University—through the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up Division—launched the final events of the University Scientific Debate Mondial, held at the level of all NTU colleges and institutes.
The final round featured an engaging and dynamic competition among four teams representing:
1- The Technical Engineering College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence.

2- Al-Hawija Technical College.

3-Kirkuk Technical College of Health and Medical Technologies.

4- Al-Dour Technical Institute.

The debates addressed a wide range of topics, including issues related to technology, artificial intelligence, and current societal challenges. The participating students demonstrated strong skills in critical thinking, constructive dialogue, and logical persuasion.
The team from the Technical Engineering College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence was crowned the first-place winner. Participation certificates were awarded to all finalist teams in recognition of their efforts and active involvement.
This event represents one of Northern Technical University’s distinguished initiatives—organized by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up Division—to enhance the skills and competencies of students and graduates, refine their personalities, and build their self-confidence. It ultimately contributes to preparing them for the job market with high professional and intellectual standards.
