Northern Technical University launches an awareness campaign in Planting trees with National Tree Planting Day

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Rafi Mahmood, the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Division, in cooperation with the “khalloha Ajmal” Foundation, organized an awareness campaign in tree planting with the National Afforestation Day. The campaign included the distribution of brochures explaining the importance of Afforestation and the types of trees appropriate to the climate in Iraq, and the importance of preserving the environment and educating society about the necessity of its care and preservation to achieve environmental balance and preserve natural resources for current and future generations.
