Northern Technical University in Service of the Community Success and Distinction for Nineveh Referees on the Field of Northern Technical University.

On Thursday, July 31st, the practical and physical fitness tests for football referees from Nineveh Province, graduates of the most recent refereeing course, were conducted at the Northern Technical University stadium. These tests marked the final requirement for their accreditation as third-level referees under the Iraqi Football Association’s records.
The tests were supervised by the Nineveh branch of the Iraqi Football Association and the Subcommittee of Referees. The presence of Dr. Raad Al-Taie, Chairman of the Subcommittee, along with committee members, Deputy Chairman Mr. Munhil Misha’al, and Association member Mr. Saher Youssef, significantly motivated the referees throughout the testing process.
Notably, Dr. Mohammed Ghani the appointed supervisor from the Referees Committee in Baghdad and head of physical fitness played a pivotal role in creating a comfortable and professional atmosphere. His experience and professional approach had a positive impact on the participants’ morale.
Twenty-four referees gathered at the NTU stadium to undergo the assessments, which included repeated short sprints followed by endurance sprints (forty 75-meter runs). The referees, overall, delivered an impressive performance that amazed the attendees especially considering it was their first official central examination. This achievement reflects their strong commitment to the instructions provided by the Subcommittee and the tremendous efforts of its members.
Out of the twenty-four participants, eighteen successfully passed the tests, while six were unable to complete them due to prior injuries or unavoidable circumstances.
