The Northern Technical University organized a seminar titled (The Child’s Right to Life, Legislation, and Education) under the patronage of the esteemed President of the Northern Technical University, Dr. Aliyah Abbas Al-Attar, and under the direct supervision of the respected Dean of the Technical Institute in Kirkuk, Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref.

Under the direct guidance and personal supervision of Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, the Committee for Evaluating Eco-Friendly Projects and Green Initiatives held its preparatory meeting as part of the project to build the capacities of civil society and local actors in Nineveh Governorate to improve water resource management in the context of climate change in Iraq.
The project is implemented by Solidarity International and funded by the French Development Agency (AFD).
The meeting focused on discussing grant funding initiatives for stakeholders in the areas of Tal Afar and Sinjar, where the Northern Technical University will act as the advisory body responsible for selecting projects based on environmental criteria and the extent to which sustainability conditions are applied.
