Northern Technical University hosts the Ramadan Basketball Tournament.

Under the direction of Northern Technical University President, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in the presence of Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thanoon Younis Thanoon, the Ramadan tournament was hosted. The 3×3 basketball event took place in the indoor sports hall after iftar, with the participation of 11 teams. A number of sports figures and veteran basketball pioneers attended the tournament, in addition to the Chairman of the Olympic Committee, the Director of Nineveh Youth Sports, and the Dean of Nineveh Technical Administrative Institute. This hosting comes as part of a series of support provided by the presidency of Northern Technical University to clubs and institutions in Nineveh Governorate.
