Northern Technical University Hosts National Scout Camp Under the Theme: “No to Extremism, Yes to Peaceful Coexistence”

As part of a warm and collegial atmosphere, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, conducted an inspection tour of the university-hosted national scout camp, held under the theme: “No to Extremism, Yes to Peaceful Coexistence.”
During her visit, Dr. Al-Attar welcomed the scout delegations representing various Iraqi universities and expressed her appreciation for their participation in this significant national event. She toured the camp’s facilities and reviewed its activities, which are designed to promote the values of peaceful coexistence and reject extremism among university students.
Dr. Al-Attar commended the efforts of the organizing committees and all participants for their contributions to the camp’s success. In her dialogue with the students, she highlighted the importance of unity, teamwork, and the role of higher education institutions in nurturing humanitarian values in the younger generation.
She further emphasized that the camp serves as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and mutual understanding among students from across Iraq.
