Northern Technical University Hosts Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities in Official Visit.

Northern Technical University in Mosul welcomed His Excellency the Iraqi Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fakak Ahmed Al-Badrani, during an official visit to the university. He was received by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, along with the Vice Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and several deans of affiliated colleges and institutes.
The visit included discussions on several strategic topics, most notably the Minister’s support for the university’s academic and cultural activities through the organization of specialized conferences and workshops. An agreement was also reached to establish a virtual digital museum on campus, utilizing the latest technologies and supported by artificial intelligence, to highlight the rich archaeological heritage of Nineveh Province.
His Excellency praised the significant achievements made by the University President in a short period of time, commending the university’s rising academic and scientific standing. He also expressed his hope to expand avenues of cooperation in the future.
The meeting further addressed ways to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of Culture and Northern Technical University in the fields of research, education, and cultural heritage preservation.
