Northern Technical University organized the closing ceremony of the University Quranic Excellence Award.

Under the patronage and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, and the Head of the Sunni Endowment Directorate, the Department of Media and Government Communication together with the Scientific Committee supervising Quranic activities in Ninawa Governorate held the ceremony. The event was attended by a number of officials, staff members, and students participating in the competition.
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of winners in the top positions, in recognition of their efforts and excellence, amid a spiritual atmosphere reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting Quranic activities and instilling authentic religious values within the academic environment.
In her speech, the University President emphasized that this award is part of the university’s strategy to nurture young talents and encourage students to adhere to the Quran as a guide in both behavior and life, contributing to the development of a conscious and cultured generation that carries both knowledge and values.
During the event, Dr. Fathi Al-Zubaidi delivered a speech explaining the competition mechanism, followed by a speech by Sheikh Fahmi. The ceremony saw wide participation from various university units, and at the conclusion, prizes were distributed to the top three winners, in addition to awards for attending participants.
