Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Vice for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Rafe Mahmood, the Department of Scientific Affairs organized its first course for research groups in civil engineering specializations. The first lecture, presented by Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Sami, included the concept of research groups and the mechanisms of their members’ work, in addition to how to cooperate in increasing scientific citations and raising the (h-index) in research.
The first lecture concluded with the formation of a number of research groups in various civil engineering specializations.
