A technical master’s thesis, specializing in computer technology engineering, was discussed in the Technical College of Engineering / Mosul by the student Noor Muhammad Abdullah Khider, tagged “A Support System for Autistic Children Based on IoT and Deep Learning Techniques”
The thesis examined a system to support and assist autistic children and their families using the Blynk platform that is linked to a set of GPS module & sensor for child tracking, as well as a Vgg-16 network programmed in Python, which gave the network accuracy of 95.23% for the first data and 99.01% for the data of the second packet.
The aim of preparing the study is to build a prototype of a system based on the Internet of Things and deep learning technologies to support children with autism spectrum with a system and programming based on Internet of Things technology with support for deep learning technology.
The thesis recommended the use of the electronic system to support autistic children and recognize facial expressions using Internet of Things technology, Blynk platform, and VGG-16 network.
The discussion committee consisted of:
- Assistant Professor Dr. Naseer Maysir Bashir / Chairman.
- Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Othman Muhammad / member.
- Assistant Professor Dr. Farqad Hamid Abdel Rahim / member.
