“Northern Technical University Discusses a master thesis of Control System for Photovoltaic Cell Unit…

الجامعة التقنية الشمالية تناقش نظام سيطرة للتحكم بوحدة الخلية الكهروضوئية

A discussion of the technical master’s thesis specialized in Electrical Power Engineering was conducted at the College of Engineering/ NTU The thesis is titled ‘Design and Implementation of an Efficient Control System for PV ModeImplementationImplementationl Unit’. The researcher, Mohammed Sami Saleh, explored a new method for accurate tracking and positioning of objects, utilizing it to determine the sun’s position and enhance the performance of solar trackers, supported by a new theoretical proof and practical implementation.
The thesis aimed to:
Enhance the efficiency of solar trackers and improve their performance.
Derive mathematical equations for calculating the efficiency of solar trackers.
The thesis recommended:
Use intelligent algorithms to enhance the proposed tracking system’s response.
Introduce more variables into the proposed system for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Employ sensors of a different type than those used to enhance the proposed tracking system’s efficiency and accuracy.
Apply the proposed object tracking system in other applications.
Potentially increase the proposed positioning system’s accuracy by adding more sensors.
During the discussion, the College’s Dean, Prof. Dr. Majid Khalil Najm, and the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies, as well as several faculty members and postgraduate students, were present.
The discussion committee consisted of:
Assistant Professor Dr. Fuwaz Sultan Abdullah (Chairman)
Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ubaid Mustafa (Member)
Dr. Ahmed Abdel Jalil Abdullah (Member)
Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jadaan Ali (Member and Supervisor)
