Northern Technical University Convenes First Council Meeting for the 2025–2026 Academic Year.

The Northern Technical University held its first University Council meeting for the 2025–2026 academic year in the Council Hall of the Technical Engineering College – Mosul.
The meeting was chaired by the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, who welcomed council members and emphasized the importance of strategic planning for the upcoming academic year.
During the session, the Council discussed several academic and administrative matters, reviewed institutional plans and programs, and explored mechanisms to enhance the university’s educational and research performance, as well as to strengthen the academic environment.
The agenda focused on several vital topics, including:
1-The directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
2-The guidance of the NTU President, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar.
3-Logistical preparations for the successful commencement of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The Council reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining academic excellence, supporting innovation, and fostering a collaborative and student-centered environment across all NTU campuses.
