Northern Technical University Concludes Women’s Volleyball Championship for University Students.

The Northern Technical University concluded its Women’s Volleyball Championship for students from various university faculties in the Ninawa region, with the presence of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the University. The tournament saw wide participation from female students across all university formations in the province.
The competition took place in a highly competitive and spirited atmosphere, where the players showcased their athletic skills, teamwork, and unity. This event reflected the university’s commitment to supporting sports activities and encouraging students to engage in physical exercise as part of their personal and physical development.
During the closing ceremony, the University President praised the high level of the tournament and the efforts of all participants, highlighting the importance of sports in promoting overall health, building leadership qualities, and fostering team spirit. She also emphasized the university’s dedication to organizing such events regularly to encourage interaction among students and elevate the spirit of friendly competition.
At the end of the tournament, the winning teams and participants were awarded medals, amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy. The results were as follows: First place went to the Polytechnic College, second place to the Mosul Technical Medical Institute, and third place to the Ninawa Institute of Management. This success exemplifies the university’s ability to integrate academic education with sports and social activities.
