Northern Technical University and Nineveh Health Department sign a joint scientific cooperation agreement

Northern Technical University and the Nineveh Health Directorate have signed a joint scientific cooperation agreement.

 

Within the framework of strengthening institutional cooperation and integrating efforts between the academic and healthcare sectors, Northern Technical University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, signed a joint scientific cooperation agreement with the Nineveh Health Directorate, represented by its Director, Pharmacist Dilshad Ali Abdullah Shankali, with the aim of developing educational and training programs and advancing the healthcare services provided to the community.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, the Dean of the Technical Medical Institute / Mosul, as well as a number of department directors from the University Presidency and several officials and academics from both sides.

The agreement aims to:

* Support practical training for students in medical and health specializations within the Directorate’s healthcare institutions.
* Implement joint research programs that contribute to addressing health challenges in Nineveh Governorate.
* Exchange scientific and technical expertise between academic and medical staff.
* Organize workshops and training courses that contribute to developing professional skills.

Both parties emphasized that this step represents a qualitative advancement in the path of joint cooperation and contributes to enhancing the quality of technical medical education, which will positively reflect on the level of healthcare services provided to citizens in the governorate.

This agreement comes in line with the strategic orientation of Northern Technical University toward openness to state institutions and the establishment of effective partnerships that contribute to serving the community and achieving sustainable development.
