Northern Technical University Achieves Top Ranks in the Iraqi Classification of Government and Private Universities in Some of Its Departments.

The following departments at the Technical Institute of Kirkuk have achieved top positions in the Iraqi university classification for 2024:

1. Department of Accounting Techniques
2. Department of Material Management Techniques
3. Department of Legal Administrative Techniques

These departments competed successfully against their counterparts in government universities, as well as private colleges. Additionally, the Department of Fuel and Energy Techniques at the College of Oil and Gas Engineering in Kirkuk received recognition. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by Dr. Salah Mahdi Saleh Al-Fatlawi, President of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, awarded a Certificate of Excellence to the top-ranking departments. This certificate was received by Dr. Ubaid Majid Ali, Dean of the College of Oil and Gas, and Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref, Dean of the Technical Institute of Kirkuk.

With this step, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research appreciates these achievements, reaffirming its support for educational institutions that continue to work hard to raise quality standards and achieve academic accreditation, as well as attain advanced ranks in local and international classifications.
