This memorandum aims to enhance scientific collaboration and integration of scientific capabilities, believing in the importance of relying on the resources, capacities, and capabilities of both parties to collaborate in the fields of scientific research, technology transfer, and localization, in line with national development plans and within the specialization of both parties. In order to strengthen and develop scientific and cultural cooperation, the Northern Technical University, represented by Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and Al-Qalam Private University College have signed a memorandum of scientific cooperation. The signing ceremony was attended by the Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafee Mahmoud, the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, the Director of the Graduate Studies Department, and the Head of the Medical Devices Department at the College of Engineering Technology, Mosul. The memorandum includes several provisions, including the exchange of experiences, information, scientific and technical consultations, and participation in committees and scientific councils of both parties. Visits for the purpose of training or exchanging experiences are also included. At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University presented a gift to the college delegation, symbolizing the Minaret of Hadba, as well as a tangible gift representing our three provinces that include the formations of our university and a collection of informative materials about the university. The delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and praised the significant developments that our university has achieved.
