Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of the Mosul Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab, the Department of Plant Production Techniques organized a scientific course entitled “Tissue Culture Techniques” in which she lectured:

Dr. Maha Mohamed Taha, the course touched on many topics and modern techniques in tissue culture, where the positive and negative characteristics of tissue culture and how to benefit from them were presented.

The course aims to:

1. Explanation of the concept of cultivation technology for plant tissues and its benefits.
2. Using tissue culture to overcome fungal diseases.
3. The relationship of nanotechnology with tissue culture technology for plants.
